Interview & Selection Process

We want to support you in finding your long-term career at Jarrett. The interview process helps us get to know you as a person as well as discussing your background, experience, and qualifications so we can determine the best fit for you. We focus on your character, values, and integrity and the effectiveness of this approach shows in our award-winning workplace culture.

Application | Candidate submits an application and resume online.

Phone Interview | A member of the HR team will discuss the opportunities with the candidate.

HR Interview | Candidates will meet with more members of our HR team, either in person or virtually.

Assessment | Depending on the role(s) the candidate is being considered for, the candidate may take an online assessment.

Management Interview | Candidates will meet with members of our management team.

Decision | Jarrett will follow up with the candidate to let them know the final decision either way.

How do you determine compensation?

Compensation is determined at the end of the interview process before an offer is extended. Compensation is discussed between the HR department and the hiring manager, and ultimately is factored upon one’s education and previous work experience.

Most of our interviews take place at our company headquarters. Depending on the company you are interviewing with, one of the HR team members will give you a specific address.

Our office attire is business casual, so we would suggest business attire that you feel would best represent yourself during a first impression.

When will I hear back after my interview?

The timing depends on availability and schedules, but the HR team member you interview with will give you clear expectations at the end of the interview. If you ever have questions or would like to follow up, you are welcome to give us a call.

Who will I be meeting with for my interview?

Depending on the step in the interview process, you may meet with any member of the HR team or the manager or team lead of the department you are being considered for.

Our Recruiting team will follow up via email with any next steps. If you are selected to interview, our team will send you an email to get availability for an introductory phone call.

The length of time depends on the position you are applying for, but we strive to keep the entire process from application to offer within four weeks.
